Implementation of an anti-bribery system in health sector of the Republic of Moldova
Center for Innovation and Policies in Moldova in partnership with Integrity Solutions with financial support of RoAid – Romanian Agency for International Development have organized the national conference: Implementation of an anti-bribery system in health sector of the Republic of Moldova on 27th of November 2018 in Chisinau.
The conference gathered representatives of Romanian Government, RoAid Agency and medical institutions from Republic of Moldova, approaching anticorruption strategies in the health sector, especially the implementation of the international standard ISO 37001- Anti bribery management system for the Municipal Clinical Hospital ”Sfantul Arhanghel Mihail” in Chisinau.
Within the plenary session, representative of Romanian Embassy in R. Moldova, Artur Raducanu mentioned that “the European path of the Republic of Moldova is supported by Romanian Government both financially and expertise”.
Mrs. Anca Stefiuc, the representative of RoAid – Romanian Agency for International Development – had specified that R. Moldova is a priority for Romania and all projects supported by RoAid Agency aim to improve the social and economic situatioan of Moldovan citizens.
The representative of the National Anticorruption Center of Moldova Ion Pruteanu encouraged all those attending the conference to make effort and fight corruption in the institutions they represent.
Svetlana Chișlaru, vice director of the Municipal Clinical Hospital “Sfantul Arhanghel Mihail”, said their hospital will be making effort to implement the anti-bribery procedures that are worked out by the Center for Innovation and Policies in Moldova and the consultancy company Integrity Solutions within the project “Efficient management at the Municipal Clinical Hospital “Sfantul Arhanghel Mihail” of Chisinau – self-assesssment and standardization for modern administration”.
The Center for Innovation and Policies in Moldova, in partnership with Integrity Solutions, during 12 months will assist the administration of the Hospital “Sfantul Arhanghel Mihail” of Chisinau in appropriately implementing the ISO 37001 standard so as to contribute to preventing corruption at this health facility, which is expected to become an example of goods practices in the field.
