Achievements of the Center for Innovation and Policies in Moldova in 2024
In 2024, the Center for Innovation and Policies in Moldova (CIPM) secured a grant from the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ program. This grant supports the development of essential professions in the construction sector, with a focus on restoring the architectural monuments of the Republic of Moldova. The project, titled “Preparing the Past for the Future: A Capacity-Building Initiative in Technical Vocational Education for Monument and Building Restoration”, brings together an international consortium of six entities from four countries.
Together with consortium members, two occupational standards have been developed, Restorer of Decorative Plaster and Moldings and Building Restoration Technician, both approved by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and published in the Official Gazette.
Through these achievements, CIPM continues to make significant contributions to the development of vocational education and the preservation of Moldova’s cultural heritage. This project marks an important step in aligning technical education with labor market needs and preparing specialists for the future.
